2026 Society Award Winners announced

The Society makes two Awards each year, and the Award Winners for 2026 were announced at the recent AGM.

• The Tony Gallaher Memorial Award for the Best Article published in the Society magazine in the previous year was awarded to :
  Phil Stringer for his articles Ships Lifeboat Matches (published February 2025), Bakelite containers with Government markings (published April 2025) and Lifeboat Matches (published June 2025)
• The KC Literary Award for the Best Publication reviewed in the Society magazine in the previous year was awarded to :
  Joel Viana de Lemos for his book Postcards in Phillumeny (reviewed in August 2025)
